As is so often the case, no news for ages, then contacted by three editors in two days. One ‘no’ (but with some excellent feedback – it really does mean so much when someone takes the trouble to write constructive comments, and it gives you something to work on), one ‘yes’ (hurrah!) and one ‘not in a position to look at anything right now’ (entirely fair enough in the circumstances).
So just when I was beginning to feel a wee bit despondent, it feels good to get a bit of encouragement. They are right, aren’t they? You just have to keep going, keep sending work out there, and not lose heart when you get a knock back.
Right, where did I put those competition details? Time to crack on with the next one…!
