Competition Deadline – Kobo’s 100 word short

Standard

Got a novel in progress?  (Isn’t that all of us?!)  Think you can write a 100-word short by tomorrow?  Then read on!

In case you’ve not already seen it, the closing date for the Kobo “Jeffrey Archer Short Story Challenge” is tomorrow.  The idea is, you send a 100-word short (any genre) and they pick the best 20 and put them together in a free anthology. Then Mr Archer picks three finalists from these 20 semi-finalists. The three finalists submit 3,000 words of their novel-in-progress – and get comments back from Curtis Brown Creative.  The winner gets to go on a novel-writing course.

Sounds like an excellent prize to me – so get scribbling those 100 words and email them off quick.
